I had often wondered what his classes were like, now you can get a little taste of one from this show.
I have a friend that took one of his classes in Oregon this last year doing a Peregine Falcon and his recomendation is only one of highest praise. Most of his classes are 10 days , full days.
Be sure and look around his site at some of the major carvings. Some really big projects. Some life size ones.
I have used his DVD on the American Kestrel and his Birds Of Prey book to try and do some advanced carvings. Both are great helps. Pirds of Prey book has patterns on all the pictured birds. Pictures are of various hawks and falcons in many poses and color varations. Excellent close ups of feathers and heads. Also has painting instruction on the Kestrel as well as some shaping of the head.
Hopeing someday to get to do one.
